Realtor.com announced it officially embedded Matterport 3D Tours into their iOS app, giving home buyers the opportunity to explore Interactive and Immersive 3D Tours from their iPhone or iPad. In addition, end users of realtor.com’s iOS app will now see a 3D icon overlaid on the featured photo of listings that are supplied with the interactive and immersive 3D tours.
This creativity empowers luxury realtors to better engage realtor.com’s consumer base by featuring their listings with an immersive 3D Tour on their most commonly used devices. Furthermore, these immersive 3D Tours can also be made available on realtor.com primary website.
If a listing is captured using a Matterport 3D Showcase, the immersive 3D tour will automatically be made available on the listing if the listing has been opted in to Matterport syndication feed. The ios app features both for-sale listings and rental listings and contains the largest inventory of Immersive 3D Tours of any real estate app.
Additionally, this innovative integration marks a huge step forward for the 3D Tour industry, taking 3D and virtual reality real estate marketing to a huge mainstream national audience. Realtor.com is one of the largest sources of residential real estate, with 50 million unique users per month and 128 million average monthly visits.
